Foreground application use, excluding idle and locked time
A little insight.
A better conversation.
Connect a computer to start understanding its activity.
A caring connection, wherever you are.
Connect Tracktor on your child’s Windows computer. Activity will appear here after its first sync.
- Create a one-time connection code.
- Download Tracktor for Windows, extract the ZIP, and open Tracktor.exe on the child’s computer.
- In Settings & setup → Remote access, enter the code and choose Connect & start automatically.
Explain what is recorded together: app time, supported browser pages, and YouTube playback estimates. Recording remains visible on their computer.

Where the time goes
A closer look at YouTube
“What was something you enjoyed or learned on the computer today?”
These records cannot tell you everything your child experienced online. Review them together and make space for anything that felt confusing or uncomfortable.
Applications
Recorded active time. Unreported periods are not counted as zero use.
Pages viewed
Received page observations, most recent first. Open background tabs are not a record of viewing.
YouTube activity
The day, piece by piece
Application, page, playback, and collection records may overlap. Do not add them together.
What this can tell you
Tracktor reports what its collector observed and successfully synced. It does not certify that a child is safe, measure attention, or explain why a page was opened.
Chrome and Edge pages are supported on Windows. Private, guest, and unrecognized browser layouts can be excluded. Unknown periods stay unknown. A parent dashboard does not override a pause on the child’s computer.
Manage this computer
Use these controls when you want a fresh start or no longer want this computer connected.
Clears the cloud copy now and requests deletion on the child’s computer when it reconnects.
Stops future sync. Previously received activity remains until deleted. Local recording may continue on the child’s computer.
